It was a fun game, I had pretty good seats. The venue was really nice.

About
Utah Jazz History
The Utah Jazz joined the NBA in 1974 as an expansion franchise in New Orleans. They quickly traded for a local favorite, point guard "Pistol" Pete Maravich, who went to college at Louisiana State. Maravich had an entertaining style of playing and won the NBA scoring title in the 1976–77 season.
Logistical issues plagued the team in New Orleans, where the franchise spent only five years, never finishing with a winning record. The Jazz moved to Utah for the 1979–80 season, and they qualified for the playoffs for the first time in 1983–84.
The season after their first playoff berth, the Jazz selected point guard John Stockton with the No. 16 pick in the NBA Draft. The following year, they selected forward Karl Malone with the No. 13 pick. They became one of the best duos in NBA history and anchored the most successful period in franchise history.
The Jazz qualified for the playoffs in 20 consecutive seasons and won 50 or more regular season games in 11 of those seasons. Malone won the NBA MVP Award twice, in 1997 and 1999, and Stockton broke Magic Johnson's career assist record in 1995. He finished his career with 15,806 assists, a record that still stands.
The Jazz advanced to the NBA Finals in back-to-back seasons in 1996–97 and 1997–98, but they faced Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls both times. The Bulls beat them in six games each year. Utah has not been back to the finals since, but they’ve maintained a consistent level of success. They have missed the playoffs just nine times in the last 35 years.

The venue is a great setup, right on top of the action. Only downfall was where our seats were, it was like hiking every time we came back.
Jazz womp the Pistons
by Jcasey03 on 3/16/18Vivint Smart Home Arena - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5In a 110-79 win over Pistons, music played constantly. That was the only drawback to the game. It's okay to not have sounds other than what is going on on the court.

A great organization and a great venue
by GaryS201 on 12/26/17Vivint Smart Home Arena - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5I had not been to a Jazz home game in more than 10 years. I had forgotten how exciting it feels to attend in person with nearly 20,000 fellow fans. The Jazz do a great job to make it a pleasant experience for all fans. And there are no bad seats! We were up pretty high in the cheap seats and could see the game just fine.

Jazz Game
by JazzFan1974 on 10/24/17Vivint Smart Home Arena - Salt Lake CityRating: 2 out of 5I got my tickets by calling Ticketmaster and it seemed to go great. I get to the area and have my drivers licences and credit card but they can not find my tickets. I go to two other lines plus check my email. I give my conformation number also. They still can not find them after 35 minutes they say "oh you put your middle name as "L" so we did not know Vincent L. Duff was the same as Vincent Duff." what a joke. I went through 4 employees and they all thought that was not the same person. The Game was great and all to remodel was nice to see. Food still high priced but taste great.
