I’ve seen this musical before and love all things Sara B, so I was pretty disappointed with this performance’s lack of good sound quality, and the audio cutting out several times. The singer who played Jenna was also not at her best, with many notes out of key or simply missed. An excellent score and musical, just not at its best.
Ticket time says 7. Show started around 8:15 with doors not opening until 7:30. We didn’t get to stay for the second half because of the late start since we had a sitter and only anticipated the show running until 9:30. The show itself was good. I didn’t go into the show with any expectations and we enjoyed it. The theater wasn’t the best with sound in the upper area but you paid for what you get so wasn’t too upset. All n all, I wouldn’t have bought the tickets knowing the start time was going to be at 8.
We really enjoyed it. It wasn't what I expected. It was very funny & entertaining. I'm glad I got to see it.
Waitress is fun, funny and all around wonderful. I encourage anyone and everyone to see it if you have the opportunity.
Laughed, cried, laughed and cried some more. It was so good. Even my straight guy friend enjoyed it.
The only problem i found was the band was on the stage and it was a little to loud and the music echoed, so some of the words in the songs were hard to understand! Not sure why the band was on the stage and not in the Orchestra pit!
I sat next to a door and at walking aisle. I saw no less than a dozen individuals ask for a formal playbill only to be told it was digital. Theater lovers collect playbills. The venue or the tour group needs to get it together.
