THE LOX IN CONCERT:
Ruff ryders mount up — New York hip hop heavyweights The Lox surprised fans in late 2013 with The Trinity EP, their first new material since 2000's We Are The Streets. With labels from Bad Boy to Maybach Music Group competing for the chance to release the trio's 2014 full-length, Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch are doing what they do best — holding it down for fans at select tour dates around the country.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The Lox, an acronym for Living Off Experience, formed in Yonkers in the mid-'90s, attracting the eye of fellow Yonkers native Mary J. Blige with their underground demos and mixtapes. Blige fast-tracked their demo to Puff Daddy, who signed them to his Bad Boy label and featured them on his 1997 smash "It's All About the Benjamins." It was all dollar signs from there, as The Lox's 1998 debut album Money, Power & Respect topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200. 2000 follow-up We Are the Streets, a similar success, would be the group's last new release until the surprise drop of 2013's The Trinity EP, which has fans eagerly awaiting the arrival of the trio's third full-length in 2014.

Four of the best lyricists ever no doubt. My seat was broken and wasn't given another one so I was at the stage most of the concert, told me I would get a different seat and never got one, no big deal. Entrance staff need a more efficient method of screening patrons. Was outside for over 45 minutes.
The LOX put on the best rap performance I’ve ever seen, the crowd in CT knew every bar to every song. Best birthday celebration ever!
Overall nice experience. I expected a little more given the fact it’s their anniversary tour.
A few years back I seen the lox perform at the same theater (I believe it’s been renovated since) when dmx was alive rip. I once again emoted myself

I will book tickets to see the lox anytime they come to CT. These guys are 1/1. Lyrical beasts who take me back to some of the best times in my life. They are truly the last of a dying breed. There are Not many rap artist left that can actually relate to the hood or real people in general. Love me some Jada/sheek/ and styles P.

Enjoyable, peaceful, and eventful.🎉❤️🎉 That’s how I’m summing up my experience. The Lox did a great job at hosting their hometown. I tip my hat to these men. Bravo!

I had a blast at the show. The Lox and all the Special Guest showed out. Westchester County showed out. The old NY was in the building. Thank you, Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek for the wonderful show.
